For the second of our new Riverside Raga concerts, GemArts brings together two of the world’s leading musicians from the Carnatic tradition. 
Shashank Subramanyam is a Grammy nominated renowned exponent of the Bamboo Flute from India, through his virtuosity and dexterity he generates a powerful explosion on the flute.  Accompanying Shashank is UK based Jyotsna Sirkanth, Europe’s leading violinist from the Carnatic classical tradition. Joining them on the mridangam (double barrelled drum) is Sai Giridhar.
