Khyal: Music and Imagination
“Khyal: Music and Imagination” is an AHRC-funded partnership project based at Durham University. The project aims to stimulate new forms of artistic production based on interactions between performers, ethnomusicologists and visual artists, and to promote public engagement with music and visual arts. GemArts and Durham University worked with visual Artists, local schools and live musicians to create brand new work for an exciting exhibition displayed in the Laing Art Gallery in November 2016.
