Double Dutch: a game

Double Dutch: a game

Double Dutch: a game is a two-channel video installation, which documents a participatory performance in two parts, each representing a different view of the process of seeking asylum in the UK. It is a project from Newcastle based Portuguese artist Isabel Lima, a book and exhibition accompanied the Newcastle launch in 2014.

The work goes on display in Portugal from 15th August as part of the biannual MALA (Mostra de Artistas Lacobrigences) show exhibiting the work of artists born or resident in Lagos city, organised by Lagos City Council.

Information on this commission here.

Further information on Double Dutch: a game at MALA and venue details to follow.

Double Dutch: a game is co-commissioned by GemArts and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
