Smoking vocals, booting brass, sparkling banjo, funky bass and drums. Soznak is an exciting band from Newcastle upon Tyne, who have toured across Rumania, Ireland and the UK.
Their high energy fusion of Congolese Rumba, Northern Brass, Ska, Afrobeat jive and jazz and 80s disco is guaranteed to get you dancing in the street or in the club... Soznak bring an instant party to anywhere.
Skerne are a well-known Folk Band in the North East, playing their brand of English, Irish and Scottish folk songs and rousing choruses! They were the resident Group at the Red Lion Pub in Trimdon for over 30 years and they have undertaken tours in Germany, Russia and Slovakia.
