Manga are Japanese comics or cartoon drawings, that are made for, and are read by all ages and cover all literary styles. However, the word comic is too limiting a word; indeed the word manga originally meant 'whimsical pictures'.

Manga artists need both the traditional ability to draw well, and also a high standard of software skills.

Although essentially a Japanese art form, this exhibition has work by manga artists from all over the world, including Japan, China, Singapore, USA, Italy, Poland and the UK.
