A2B Festival - Sonia Sabri Dance Workshops

The Brewery Arts Centre worked in partnership with GemArts & South Lakeland Young Carers and delivered a two year pilot project that set out to give groups of young carers from across South Lakeland the opportunity to devise and create their own urban street culture.

Linking to her new show, Kathakbox, Sonia Sabri ran Indian Dance Workshops for young people in the months leading up to the A2B Festival. Sonia collaborated with Young People to compose 'Colouring in the World', a dance piece that was performed as a curtain raiser to Kathakbox as part of the A2B Festival in July 2011.
