GemArts is teaming up with Gateshead Art Diamonds and Gateshead Arts Team to engage people of retirement age in creative workshops at Gateshead Central Library to celebrate Masala Festival 2022.

Tea cups are a reminder of community places where people meet up and socialise, of home and a warm welcome across the world.
 
Join artist Michelle Wood for this special Masala Festival workshop.  Create unique paper tea cups using maps of South Asia, decorated with print and collage techniques, and have a nice cup of hot chai!
