Diwali Online Workshops

Diwali 2020
Online sessions for schools to mark Diwali 2020

Diwali is the festival of lights celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. It celebrates new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and light over darkness.

GemArts has produced a series of online videos with our professional artists to help pupils understand and celebrate Diwali and as an introduction to the culture of India.

The online video links will be sent to schools in the week commencing 9th November and will be available for schools to use, via GemArts Vimeo channel, for 2 weeks to support learning around Diwali.

Will light triumph over darkness and good overcome evil?
