School workshops- Capoeira
Capoeira is a fascinating dance practice that blends martial arts with rhythmic dance in an incredibly intricate performance. Capoeira (pronounced cap- u-air-a) is an Afro-Brazilian artform with roots in self-defence and spiritual practice. These workshops are taught by a Mestre (master) with a huge amount of practical experience in bringing the context of this dance to life.
Capoeira workshops can last for up to 1 hour for a class of 30 students and can be tailored to different age ranges
Celebrate Carnival, Day of the Dead or other South American dates with a Capoeira workshop or embed as part of a creative or inclusive project.
Workshops are priced at £200 for a half day or £300 for a full day
