School workshop- Bollywood Rhythms
Book a Bollywood dance lesson for your class or school
Bollywood dance is famous around the world for expressive and visually stunning performances in film. This Hindi dance takes inspiration from formal and folk dance traditions and fuses it with modern music and influences from other dance cultures to bring a unique blend of rhythm and expression.
Led by a skilled dance tutor your students will learn simple pattern dances to master a Bollywood dance routine while exploring different types of Indian dance and their cultural significance in celebrations and festivals. The facilitator will teach basic instructions in Hindi or Urdu, allowing students to experience a new language while learning the choreography.
Workshops can be delivered as a one-off taster or developed into a project to get students performance ready.
Bollywood Rhythm workshops can support celebrations of Holi, Diwali, Vaisaki, International days or art projects
Half day workshops £150, full day £250
